About this policy

This privacy policy explains how Sjenkie B.V. (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and handles personal data in connection with Sjenkie’s Workshop. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who we are

Sjenkie B.V. is a company registered in the Netherlands. The data controller for this website and our services is Jordi Buskermolen. For data-related questions, contact us at jordi@sjenkie.com.

What data we collect

When you submit an intake request or contact form, we collect:

  • Your name and work email address
  • Information about the workflow or task you describe
  • Any additional details you choose to share (tools used, team context, examples)

We do not collect any data automatically other than a single functional cookie used to store your consent preference. If you accept cookies, we also load Google Analytics, which collects anonymised usage data about your visit (pages viewed, session duration, approximate location). See the Cookies section for more detail.

How we use your data

We use the information you submit solely for:

  • Assessing whether your request is a fit for what we build
  • Scoping and pricing the tool if we proceed
  • Following up with you about your request
  • Delivering the project and communicating during delivery

We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing purposes, or use it for any purpose unrelated to the project you have requested.

AI platform disclosure

The tools we build run on the OpenAI platform (custom GPTs). This means that when you or your team use a delivered tool, input data passes through OpenAI’s systems.

During the build process, we may use AI-assisted tools to test and develop your tool. We do not submit your confidential business content to AI platforms without your knowledge.

We recommend that you do not paste personally identifiable information (PII) about third parties, such as candidates’ full names, addresses, or ID numbers, into any GPT-based tool unless you have reviewed OpenAI’s data processing terms and have a legal basis to do so.

Data retention

We retain your contact information and project details for as long as necessary to deliver the service and handle any follow-up or revision requests, typically up to 12 months after the last interaction. After that period, we delete or anonymise personal data unless we are legally required to retain it.

Your rights under GDPR

As a resident of the EU or EEA, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Object to or restrict how we process your data
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, email jordi@sjenkie.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Cookies

This website uses one cookie: a functional cookie named cookie_consent, which stores whether you have accepted or declined our cookie notice. It contains no personal information and is stored locally in your browser.

If you accept cookies, we also load Google Analytics (GA4), operated by Google LLC. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure how visitors use the site: pages visited, session duration, and approximate location. This data is aggregated and anonymised. Google acts as a data processor under a data processing agreement. You can review Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

No advertising or remarketing cookies are used.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. For significant changes, we will make the update visible on the site.
